ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

Our mission is simple: to glorify God, to teach His Word faithfully, and to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. To provide a place of worship and prayer where all people can encounter the presence of God. To equip believers with biblical teaching that challenges them to grow deeper in their understanding of Scripture. To remain faithful to God’s Word, even in passages that are often overlooked, so that our members are encouraged to study beyond tradition and seek God with their whole heart. To encourage believers to live out their faith in community service, compassion, and justice, reflecting the love of Christ in everyday life.

“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
– 2 Timothy 3:16 (NABRE)
“Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:16 (NABRE)

OUR BELIEFS

God’s Word is Truth – We study the entire Word of God, not just familiar sections, but also Scriptures outside the common readings, encouraging deeper research and understanding. Jesus Christ is Lord – The foundation of our faith is Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). The Holy Spirit Leads – We depend on the Spirit to guide us in wisdom, unity, and boldness. The Church is Universal – Not confined to a building or denomination, the Church is the living body of Christ, united across all nations and peoples. Freedom of Faith – We uphold the God-given right to worship freely and without fear, standing on both the protections of Scripture and the freedoms recognized in our nation.

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
– John 17:17 (NABRE)
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
– 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NABRE)
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.”
– Romans 12:5 (NABRE)
“We must obey God rather than men.”
– Acts 5:29 (NABRE)

OUR VISION

We envision a congregation where believers are free to worship God in Spirit and truth, where the Bible is the foundation of every teaching, and where prayer and community lift one another up. As a virtual congregation, we are not bound by walls but united by the Spirit. Wherever people gather with us—in homes, online, or in fellowship—we believe Christ is in our midst. We see our ministry as:

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
– Matthew 18:20 (NABRE)
“He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you: Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God.”
– Micah 6:8 (NABRE)
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free.”
– Luke 4:18 (NABRE)

A SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION

“They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers.”
– Acts 2:42 (NABRE)
“For no one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely, Jesus Christ.”
– 1 Corinthians 3:11 (NABRE)
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.”
– Psalm 119:105 (NABRE)
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”
– Luke 11:28 (NABRE)

These verses remind us that our congregation’s strength does not come from human traditions, but from the everlasting Word of God and the unity of believers in Christ.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

Whether you are new to faith, seeking a fresh start, or desiring deeper growth in your walk with God, we welcome you into the fellowship of the Universal Congregation & Ministry. Together, we are building a church that is timeless, rooted in Scripture, led by the Spirit, and centered on Christ.

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to myself.” – John 12:32 (NABRE)
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together as one!” – Psalm 133:1 (NABRE)

ABOUT US

The Universal Congregation & Ministry is a predenominational, non-denominational, and independent body of believers committed to serving God in truth and love. We exist outside of denominational divisions, following only the Word of God as revealed in Holy Scripture and upheld through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are called predenominational because we strive to return to the purity of the early Church, before traditions, doctrines, and systems of men created divisions. Our goal is to live and teach directly from the Scriptures, not according to the patterns of denominational creeds, but in alignment with the eternal truth of God.

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship him.”
– John 4:23 (NABRE)
“So then, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.”
– 2 Thessalonians 2:15 (NABRE)
